Our bread and butter. Facing brick and blockwork from the footings up to damp-proof course, set out level, bonded clean and brought up dead true so the build above lands square. This is what Cozma MD do day in, day out on new-build developments and private plots across Northamptonshire.

Outer skin facing brick and inner skin blockwork built off the footings up to damp course, coursed level and tied in so the substructure carries the load evenly.
Levels and lines pulled off your datum and setting-out drawings before a brick is laid, so the footprint is square and the courses come up right first time.
Wall ties, cavity insulation, weeps and the damp-proof course all built in as the work goes up, ready for the superstructure to sit on a clean, dry course.
Built to NHBC and your engineer’s spec, kept to programme and left clean for the next trade, plot after plot.
It is the brick and block from the top of the footings up to damp-proof course, the part of the build that sits in and just out of the ground. We lay the outer facing skin and inner blockwork, build in the cavity, ties and DPC, and bring it all up level ready for the floor and the walls above.
Yes. On development work we build to the approved setting-out and structural drawings and to NHBC standards, and we are used to working alongside the building inspector and site manager as the stages are signed off.
That is the job. On new-build sites we set out and build the substructure to your programme, plot by plot, so the floors and superstructure can follow on without holding the site up.
Either. We can set out and build off footings your groundworker has poured, or take the dig and footings on ourselves. Either way the brickwork lands square and to the right levels.
Everything comes off a fixed datum and the drawings, lines and levels checked before and as we build, so the substructure is square, the courses are level and the DPC sits exactly where it should.
Send over your drawings or a few photos of the plot and we will come back with a free quote.
